It seems that with all of these stories, it's the ammo - not the gun.

I don't know reloading; is it standard practice to document and limit the number of times you reload the same casing?

most people reload twice at the most, and that's probably for something a little more stout than a handgun.


every rimless firearm is going to have some part of the back of the case openly exposed. that's why you have (usually) a generous amount of material in the back end of the case. but not all cases are equal, and inspection is never 100%.
