Look at the Cobb manufacturing 30-06 AR. They are even doing an 8mm mauser one. How cool is that?

You can get an AR in just about anything. There's 50AE and 50 Beowulf if the .458 isn't enough for you. IMHO it's mostly "just because we can" rather than for any practical reason.

Yep .17 to 50BMG thats why I love the AR platform so much.
