I've "heard on the internets" that the steel casing is hard on extractors, but it seems to work well in AK's, marakivs and the like.

I don't shoot it out of my guns, but I would if I had an AK.

I've heard the _exact_ same thing.

Basically ok fine for AK and AR too on the cheap or for survivalist types that cache ammo but otherwise sub premium in quality and the 1911 as well as Sig owners I've heard of/from shy away from them.
I also understand it's supposed to be real dirty but i can't imagine how it can be any dirtier than Winchester Whitebox or Remington UMC.
