Classic Army - Bodies are made of metal but are not as strong as some expect, meaning they will break if dropped. They can be upgraded but not as well as Marui's. Series include M16 series and variants, MP5's, G36's, etc.

ICS - Steel bodies very strong. They shoot pretty hard out of the box but cannot be easily upgraded. Series include pretty much the same as Classic Army.

Marui - All of the guns have plastic bodies with the exception of the Thompson which is metal. Can easily be upgraded internally and externally.
Series include M16 series, MP5 series, AK-47 series, G3 series, PSG1, Thompson, Aug series, MP7, G36c, P90 series, Typer 89, etc.

wow dude... let's not start this here... this subject has gone over and over and over all over the place. It boils down to personal preference, your funding and how serious you are to get into airsoft.

What your basically asking us is to give you a "readers digest" version of info that already exists in some form here and all over otehr airsoft websites.

Find yourself a reputable airsoft retailer who offers repairs and upgrade service and ask them this same question. They'll have gone through this on a 1:1 basis and will let you know quality issues based on what gets returned to them for repair. I've even got great advice directly from Hong Kong retailers since if they warranty a return, it costs them alot in shipping charges.

on the TM line the M14, Type 89 and Thompson sport all metal receivers.

So for the sake of stopping a tard war cold.. topic locked.

Please guys, Let's not start the dreaded "what am bestest gun, mfg, country, pies" topics here.

But if you guys really want this subject opened back up just PM me. But go to any other decent airsoft website and see how these type of posts turn into all out flame wars based on peoples opinions over raw fact.
