Hey guys, I'm looking to pick up another shot gun, but can't find this one online, and my local dealers either won't special order it, OR want almost double what Stoger has for MSRP. So, what online choices do I have?

The reason some dealers can't order it is because Stoeger does not sell through wholesale distributors like most companies. You have to be a stocking dealer through the Stoeger/Benelli USA company. Check gunbroker or find a Benelli dealer in your area.

Check Sports Authority, if there's one near you. That's where I got my Nova. (At a quite nice price, I might add.)

I went to a stocking dealer. He wanted to charger DOUBLE MSRP. The other simply didn't want to order it, told me to buy something else he had in stock.

Check Sports Authority, if there's one near you. That's where I got my Nova. (At a quite nice price, I might add.)

Sports Authority, Dicks, and Bass Pro will not order and do not carry it because they consider it to be a "tactical" shot gun.

Anyone else want to help a n00b out with this? Maybe point me in the direction of a GOOD shop that will ship to Maryland?

First of all I would report that dealer to Stoeger for his unfair business practices.

When you call them I would also ask for a dealer in your area, or one that will ship to you. That may be the best way to get one.

Welcome to my world ... I call it Progessive Hell.

I'm the LAST person to try and order something online, but I have TRIED to give my money away in at least 30 stores (yes, thats not an exageration) ... I'm getting sick and tired of waisting my weekends driving to a store that has shitty service. The last store I tried to purchase a gun from flat out lied to me. They said the gun was on backorder and something about my paperwork getting screwed up. All along, they lost their FFL and were trying to get it back.

I found one shop about an hour south, they are VERY helpful, a little overpriced (I can over look that) but they won't sell stoeger, only Benelli. I'm not going to spend the money for a Benelli when a Stoeger will work just fine for what I want to use it for.
