my grandfather used an M1 carbine in the korean war and is looking to find one for collection and to shoot, where can i find one? if so, what will be the price?

Gun shows have them sometimes, they go from a very low 400 up.

Go to Auctionarms or gunbroker and look up Iver Johnson M1 carbines or Plainfield. The often go for under 400.

Stay away from Universal since many had quality issues and are not true mil spec guns.

Yeah but they will cost 2x the amount for a nice and gently used Iver Johnson or Plainfield...both of which are 100% mil spec.
