It's much bigger than I tought it would be (bought it online) and it's stainless, but I don't really notice the weight.

I have a cutco knife. It is the mini pocket knife plus. compact, forever guarentee (ha got you all beat with that), and one of the blades has a double D edge on it. And whenever I remember, I carry a nice little spyderco that I found in my yard when I was 8. Nice knife. Its like the one that MrMcCrackin posted with the black handle except for the whole thing is stainless.

the cutco one is the top one in the picture.

I'm not much of a knife guy, so the only 'knife' I carry on a daily basis is a Leatherman Juice S2.

Oh, also, since I work in the liquor industry (distributor), I often have to cut open cases of spirits or wine at my accounts, so I always have a trusty box cutter in my front shirt pocket. :p

Swiss Executive...best one I've ever had. It has knife, scissors, nail file/regular screwdriver, AND a bottle opener/philips head screwdriver.

I had a CRKT folder that was really nice, but it's gone MIA of late...
DY &/or Fuzz.... Are cops required to carry knives as duty gear?

Depends on the PD. We're not here, and I'll go ahead and speak for Fuzz because I don't think they are either.

Knives 'cut both ways' on duty. If you're not trained in the retention and use of them they can easily be used against you, which is why I don't usually carry a clip knife. I have my small Swiss Army knife, which I guess I could cut a seatbelt with or whatever, but for the most part I use a knife for chunking off a small piece of crack cocaine to test

Actually I brought both a gun and a knife to the gun fight.
my current favorites are my REKAT Sifu, Cold Steel Vasquero Grande, and Emerson Mini Commander. Funny, two monsters and one reasonably sized one.
only difference is mine says Snap-On on the side. ive already had the blade replaced three times free of charge. that’s right, not re-sharpened, but replaced. i have this constant craving to throw it into things. i really cant complain though, i send it out, it comes back three days later with a brand new blade, freshly oiled. my EDC will always be a Kershaw.

My everyday knife is a Gerber Paraframe I Black - Serrated Edge
