What kind of rifle(s) do you own?

Just wanted to see what people are shooting and what they want to shoot.
I currently only own a Kel-Tec SU-16b. I think it rocks. More to come in the future.

Not so many rifles, just the essentials.

A Stoeger 20 GA side by side
A Mosin-Nagant M44
A Ruger 77/22
A Ruger No. 1 in 30-06
A Bushmaster AR in 5.56

I suppose I need a Garand, a 10/22 (riced out, of course) and a 12 guage pump gun to round out the long gun collection.

The only rifle I own is a SU-16CA with the usual mods (muzzle brake, extended butt pad, red dot, sling, compact foreend, flashlight) and love it to death. If you don't already have the compact foreend and you don't use the bi-pod, I would highly reccomend the new foreend design. I find it much more comfy, it accepts accessories, and looks much more evil.

Form .22 to 50cal. and some odd balls inbetween, rifle, shotgun, muzzleoader(inkline and flintlock) pumps bolts and semis. i stated buying 20yrs ago and haven't stopped since lol
I like accurate firearms that can shoot better than me. If thet can't they don't stay.
I have a Winchester 1200 12ga, a 1200 20 ga (yeah, I know they're not rifles), a Ruger M77 Ultralite in .257 Roberts, and a nickle Ruger 10/22 with a composite stock.
I have my SKS, which is babied.

Then in about 3 weeks or so i'll be buying the Savage Model 12FLV if i can ever find one for sale in .308. Then to top that with a sexy little zeiss scope and we'll be good.

I miss my old collection i had to sell..... :(
Damn, that forgrip mod on the SU-16 changes the way the gun looks completely. How much does that cost? Also, where did you get it?

It's $45 directly from Kel-Tec. You have to order over the phone @ 800-515-9983.

Was it a bitch to install?

Janq, get a damn SU-16 already! It's only $450ish! And you've done you're research!
Nope, wasn't hard to install at all. It only took my like 15min. Well, it took like 30min because I put it on, realized I forgot to install the sling bracket before (which you have to install before you install the forend if you plan on using a sling), and had to take it apart and put it on again. The hardest part is putting on the heavy-duty 'c' clip that holds the upper and lower parts of the forend together. It wants to shoot off before you can get it all the way on, so wear some safety glasses.

Damn you! Why'd you have to post that... Now I HAVE to get one.

How'd you get away with the flash supressor in CA? Or is that considered a "muzzle brake"?
Bingo! It's a muzzle brake. It's marketed as an 'Izzy' muzzle brake by Bushmaster. It looks nearly identical to their popular 'Izzy" FS, but the muzzle opening is smaller (just larger than the gun's muzzle opening) where the FS is completely open on the end. It workes well at reducing what little recoil the 5.56 produces but it does make the rifle markedly louder for those at the stalls next to you. It also makes the gun much louder when you are shooting under an overhang. It looks cool though, so I'm happy with the purchase. :p
