I know the 31 is a full size 357 and the 22 is a full size 40. Is the barrel the only difference? Im wondering if there is a difference in the recoil springs or outside diameter of the barrel.

What I really want is a 357 glock with a longer barrel. Maybe even 2 or 3 inches. Im wondering if they even make such a barrel and if it would be easier to find it for a G31 or a 357 converted G22.

it wouldn't matter the od of the barrel is the same size, but as far as finding an extended 357 sig barrel i am 99% sure you would have to go with something after market (if it is even available at all)

just switcvh out barrels to convert the 40 to the 357sig. You could add a stiffer recoil spring from a 357 gun(if they are stiffer) to help make the recoil less noticeable and stop any unneeded extra wear.
