well im 5'-12" and i fit just fine, though i did bang my knee on the steering rack getting out a few times, just raised the rack!

the mini has a strange base price which is low, but you need to add seats, a steering wheel, wheels and tires before its drivable

this particular car - mini cooper s drop top sticker'd for $34k

but we got it out da door for $30k

i was very surprised - its much like a go-kart with suspension

it was really entertaining to drive 10 hours home

i agree - the sti is more roomy, but even with coilovers i am sure this little mini would give me a run for the money at the track

When I read teh topic title I thought you were going to say AIDS...but yeah BMW is IMHO the best quality auto maker and the new MINI is Kraut through and through thank god. I have worked on Brit MG's and Persia's. I fucking hate british engineering and the electrical systems suck. Land Rovers for instance are friggin junk with the electrical system. Ford owns them this is true, but they let the old people run it at their will. It got the worst new auto rating.
