Man shot over chili sauce

MIAMI - A Wendy's manager was shot several times in the arm early Tuesday trying to protect the restaurant's chili sauce, authorities said.

A man in the drive-through argued with an employee because he wanted more of the condiment, police said. The worker told the customer that restaurant policy prohibited a customer from getting more than three packets.

The man insisted on 10, reports said. The employee complied, but police said the customer wanted more.

When the manager came out to speak to the man, the customer shot the manager, Miami-Dade police spokeswoman Mary Walters said. He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The shooter fled with a female passenger.

"I did not know I got shot," store manager Renal Frage told WTVJ-TV in Miami. "When I went back to the office, I saw blood pumping out of my arm, and I was shocked. I was checking myself out and couldn't believe I got shot over some chili sauce."

Frage added: "I got shot over chili sauce. I was trying to figure while in the hospital why someone would shoot me over some chili sauce."

Yeah, soon there'll be a ban on high capacity chili sauce packets. But why stop there, we all know that chili sauce is the bastard half brother of BBQ sauce. Seriousely, though, dude got shot over chili sauce. WTF?!?!?! I guess that shooter really likes his chili sauce. I'm guessing the guy has a mullet and doesn't read or write too well...... or at all.

The problem is not chili sauce...obviously it's automobiles!

If the customer had not had such easy access to an automobile then he would not have been likely to commit the crime knowing he could in an instant of thought commit a crime and with great reasonableness expect to get away without being impeded. Had he been a walk up customer or on a bicycle, which is green and emits zero emissions, then he would not have been able to plan his attack & getaway with any level of reasonable expectation toward success.

Consistently if you look back through history you'll find that criminals choose the automobile as their preferred enabler toward crime.
They make songs about them, tell tales of how they commit crimes in them, and brazenly depict themselves and their criminal lifestyle with their automobile of choice.

We Americans need to focus our efforts toward reducing crime in our communities and as such further legislation toward the currently lax laws of automobile purchase, ownership, and operation requires review. Automobiles are everywhere in our communities and can be pretty much be found all over our streets!

Write your community leaders and state representatives to support our efforts in stopping the automobile trade.

Keep in mind; 'People don't kill people, automobiles do.'
