well i have the black rifle disease. i have been planing builds i dont have money for and it sucks. well i have an airsoft gun that i put over 1500 into and about 500 bucks in extra goodies for the outside of it. im still thinking about it but i think i might want to sell it. what do you guys think? a toy gun or a black rifle? it would be a CA legal rifle.


btw heres a pic of it...i still need to get the ris on it...shes custom

The whole "Black rifle= Evil" makes me laugh.

I show up at the range with a tricked out AR-15 with hi-cap magazines (30 rounders lets say), and I show up with an M1-A with wooden stock, also with high capacity mags (20 and 30 rnd mags), and guess which gun I always get shit for? Yep, the AR. Even the range masters ask me if it's legal, etc, etc... I always roll my eyes and say "No, I just bring it out to the range because I didn't think you'd notice".

No one ever asks about the M1-A... In my honest opinion, I'd much rather get shot by the AR-15 than the M1-A! And honestly, the M1-A is far more dangerous to your enemy than the AR-15... But it doesn't have a pistol grip, and it's not black, so that makes it "not evil".

Talk to ORCA, he has the most insane collection, and his signature is "Airsoft... A fool and his money are soon departed". It's true, once you get the airsoft sickness, you get addicted to the lamest things that YOU think are the coolest and you must have (I'm a victim too, like for example I have a Dragonov flash suppressor for my AK that cost like $40... it does NOTHING but look cool).

Airsoft isn't too expensive if you stick to the basics, but once you start going crazy, it gets more expensive than real steal!


Sure is fun to play with though.

That sounds alot like paintball in the way of equipment.
People spend stupid money on crap that is completely for flash offering no beneficial functionality and/or on garbage that ultimately doesn't work any better then stock or less spendy options.
Wow I just had no idea they could get to be at that price point.

BTW I too would way rather be shot with an AR in .223, twice, to one hit from a thirty aught... :|
IMHO it seems to me that most anything that is colored black automatically instills fear/awe in humans. It must be some sort of latent reptile brain survival instinct from the days when we were hairy and hung from trees.

i never got into that, so really not sure what it's all about...but for that same money you could have a nice black rifle.

Sad but true... Goes for people, places, animals, clothes, etc... Black is that color that makes everything "evil".

No its not a real FS2K again its a photo shop. I have seen FS2k's in ACU but dont have any pictures.

with all that solid black at the front of the rifle, does the ACU portion really make a difference?
