Anyone have any info about the UN worldwide gun ban? They had there first meeting today and I dont have much time to look for info, We need to let everyone know that this is something that could happen, not that congress will let it.... yet... People need to know about it and what to do about it. This is one that people are blowing off thinking it cant happen... Well... As much as I hate to say it it could.

which has some info on this little bit of UN Stupidity.

A lot of people seem to think this is all a load of hooey, but I for one don't think it wise to dismiss this as readily as some have! All it takes for these cowards to get thier way is enough apathy on the part of our guys...

So yes, I am keeping an eye on this moron-fest, and planning to have an extra range trip on Independence Day on the off chance I need to put the aforementioned eye to a scope...

Just saw this this morning elsewhere. Its safe to say this probably won't happen with this administration, but what if a resolution gets passed? Could the government adopt this kind of thing later? Can it supercede the Constitution?

I don't understand what the UN thinks this will resolve?

A UN resolution can not superscede our constitution. It would be a lot of firepower for US anti gun nuts trying to get laws passed here though.

I think it's rediculous that they would try to regulate private gun ownership in other countries.

I'll write some letters to show my support.
