"Gee, if the students had their guns,'' a gun nut will now argue, "then maybe they could've stopped him."
Yeah, right. There's nothing safer than a classroom full of frantic college students squeezing off rounds during the chaos that ensues after a gunman has opened fire.

so, all collage students are frantic. none have the intelligence required to safely operate a firearm under chaotic conditions, and anyone put into that scenario with a firearm would just mindlessly start expending ammunition in a frantic attempt to curb the hysteria.
right.
how did these people get into collage again?
by the way he says it, we are hopeless doomed as a species. shit, i dont think we should let people drive anymore. what happens if we get one crazy ass hole on the road trying to hit people? will everyone else completely loose composure and frantically attempt to hit them with their vehicle?
On top of the tragedy in itself, the cascade of events that will follow this day will be absolute crazy talk. in other words, buisiness as usual. its amazing that a full day has not passed and people are already using this as a platform for stricter gun laws.
but, perhaps the scariest fact of all? its been 11 hours + since the original 911 call, their was no stand off, 31 people are dead, 30 wounded, and we still dont have a confirmed gunman. they have simple assumed that the corpse with two 9mm pistols is that of the gunman.
fan-fuckin-tastic.
