AEX will soon have M1 Garand conversion kits for the Tokyo Marui M14. These are made by converteing real M1 garand parts. Installation is for the intermediate - advanced airsofter.

You can if you have the funds. But the Marushin M1 Garand is gas and shoots 8mm bbs and is prone to those related problems. The other airsoft M1 Garand made by Smokey's is in the $1200.00's

Gas rifles are great, but AEG's are not temperture sensitive, reliable and tend to dominate a skirmish field.

pfft... I'd love to have a gas G36C... Gas guns are awesome, until you have problems like leaky mags, and that dreaded cool-down effect (Which, by the way, is easy to come by on a WE Hi-Capa). But there's so many advantages to gas guns, like the fact that they just sound so awesome... I have come to fear the sound of a KJW M700 that's using green gas. Along with the sound of a KWC Sigma.


And I'm rambling... It must be bedtime. So I won't go into that whole reliability thing. At least, not now.
