So as not to hiijack gpghosts post and to maybe help with Mindstorms questions about Tippmann. I have the Tippmann A5 with M4 Stock, Response Trigger and Flatline barell. A few reasons I went with Tippmann were they are an old school paintball equipment company, I see a crapload of Tippmann 98's as rentals and the Flatline system in is very close to the hopup system used in airsoft. And the biggest plus is there's a ton of 3rd party upgrades for these.

My A-5 see's very littel use, but a quick buurst of canned air, and a little oil and it's ready to go.
Are they a good company? Well they been around a long time relative to paintball. I know paintball dayglow uniform purists prefer other brands, but the Milsim paintball guys seem to like the Tippmann A-5.
