What do all of you think about the two. I have never used either but I think that thermal would outmatch nightvission. Also could someon tell me where to find some good thermal goggles. I have looked but can only find one pair.

Thermal will be hard to find right now. Russia never did much with the technology so you don't see many out in the market like you do with Gen 1 night vision.

Here's what boredom + waiting to be deployed to Iraq last year created.

M16 A2, EOTech Reflex Site, M2 .50 cal Thermal Site, Surefire Tac Light w/ Infrared tip off filter, PAQ4

So they are still a little on the large side for practical use .

Do any of you think this is work spending $329 for? I know it will help for night but the fact that I can only use it for 10 to 15 minutes max kindof makes it not work the money and it is only first gen. What do you all think?http://www.atncorp.com/NightVision/NightVisionGoggles/ATNViper
well it's your money. you are really the only judge of if it's worth it.

I have 2 gen 1 scopes. A surefire or any other kinda tactical light will wash it out. terrible eye relief adn they need to have an IR illuminator of some sort. If someone else has a gen 1 scope yrou IR becomes a beacon for them.

So the only real use they get is for the fox/racoon chaisng outta the backyard at night. Until they get gen 1 scopes lol.
i need to get some money!! i been trying to get some night vision or thermal goggles and that web site looks promising!

I think we are off topic.... Yet again... :)

I also have an invisible minigun and all kinda class three weapons... Its hard finding them in the gun safe...
ROFLMAO.

As a matter of fact I too have the Class 3 invisible arms collection. All stuffed neatly in a REALLY BIG invisible Pelican case.

OK yeah.. I think we running outta steam on this one ;)
I think someone could squeeze one more out of it if they tryed!

it doesn't have a price, thats never good
ATN is one of the best nightvision companies there is. In order to purchase an ATN nightvision/thermal optic, you must sign a release stating that you will not sell the product to any1 who is not a U.S natural born citizen living in the U.S and you will not export it with out the written concent of the U.S Government. Any violation of this agreement is a federal offense.

SSSSSSSooooooo do you really want to know the price?
