No offense intended, O Master Of Airsoft (serious about that part), but you must be either smoking something (and please share, if you are), or you're talking about using .20 or lighter BBs with these things... I have yet to see anywhere that reported 600+ from ANY standard recent airsoft gun, gas or otherwise. Now, classic and/or modified guns are an entirely different story, I've heard that you can get "near-lethal" velocities using HPA or CO2 with the classics, or other guns modified to use external sources.

Of course, if you have somewhere that has proof that they do, I may well have to go get one of my own. ;)

Yes serious.. No offense taken bud. I was shocked too when teh first M700 was released. The only results I have are with my IR Combro 625 Chronograph and the radar chronograph at Airsoft Extreme:

M700 1st Gen with non adjustable FPS control:

M700 AICS with Adjustable PCS control set to 70%

We chrono'd with Green gas at AEX with power set to 100% @ over 600fps with .20 and green.

Both high fps results are with .20 and green gas. The other beauty of the M700 series is the insanely easy hopup adjustment, which makes is practical to shoot .20 with this high fps.

Please don't get the Tanaka M700's confused with the KJW which are copies and do not perform near as high in fps.

Other M700 info not written by me (Keep in mind most of these peeps are just guessinf fps):

1 major thing to keep in mind is even with PCS the gun may be too "hot" to skirmish with. So if you are planning on skirmishing with this family of guns, check with the peeps you play with.

*runs in fear of anyone that owns a Tanaka*

My brother has the KJW, it hurts enough, he doesn't need a Tanaka. ;)

Two questions though:

1. Does TM currently make the gun pictured in the banner of what I assume is your site? (Digital Wastelands)

2. Would you be able to do what you have here
to my computer, if I so desired? (With a different image, of course)

I wish I lived by AEX, they have a chrono. :(
