Sudden Emergency: Grab your pistol!

You're on vacation in some weird 3rd world county, awoken by your "wife" at night in some remote area where you're doing a safari type expedition with your family... You wife screams that you daughter has been abducted by men (roughly 5 or 6) wielding machetes, your wife manages to knock one of the guys out (with a brick) in the process of them abducting your daughter...

3 hours later, the man regains consciousness, and is tied and bound. You torture him and get the information that you need to get your daughter back. There are no authorities in this region, only these "warlords", and they have abducted your daughter for unknown reasons. You have the location where she is being held, a map of the place, it's you, and only you...

It's night time, there is no police or local authorities to rely on. They are in a warehouse type place, much like a "chop shop" where they steal and strip cars for profit. There are cars that you can use for cover of possible bullets, etc.

Before you go to rescue your daughter:

You get a chance to spawn one pistol, any pistol with any accessory (realistic, ie, laser, light, m6, suppressors, etc) This pistol would come with 3 magazines, fully loaded with whatever type of ammo you would want.

For this situation, what pistol would you spawn to get your daughter back? Amd what actions would you take?

Glock 19 with 3 33rd hicap mags and hallow points
Pistol for me:

Glock 21 with threaded barrel with AAC Evolution 45 Suppressor, added M6 tac light laser, and trijicon nite sights. I'd be shooting .45 hollow points, doesn't matter what kind because I wouldn't be shooting through walls or anything, and the glock will shoot pretty much anything.

13 x 3 + 1

If you can't kill someone with that many bullets, you suck. :)
glock 35 with suppressor and quality hollow points
I don't see why my XD9 sub-compact with 3 of the 16rd mags it comes with and the accessory light wouldn't suffice... :D
FN 5.7 and SS190 FMJ AP rounds with a tac light and a suppressor.

20x3+1 armor piercing high velocity rifle rounds in a pistol form factor

Well if it is one I already own it would be my Taurus 92. It already has a threaded match barrel on it. SO I would take a silenceer for it.

i luv that gun - it was a real blast to shoot, absolutely no felt recoil
I guess a supressed Mark 23 would be the best.

Anymore than 6 and I would have said Full auto AR pistol with C-mags but lets be reasonable ;)
me against a gang of dudes? shit man. i would go with something 9mm for the extra capacity, hollow points, and lower sound. remember, its a SUPRESSOR its not like the thing does not make ANY noise. none of these guys are wearing armor so im not super concerend with penetration. accessories i would have to go with a suppressor and one of those pistol bayonet's. but, only to take the bayonet off immediately. chances are i would go for as many silent takedowns as possible before even considering a firearm in your described scenario.
i wouldn't be as worried about getting in, as i would be trying to get back OUT with my daughter in tow. that said, i would probably kill any outdoor sentrys but limit my contact inside the warehouse, simply because i dont know the total number of hostiles or any of their locations. there are FAR to many unknowns to simply walk in, take cover and start poping off BG's.

scary scenario though.
I would use my Glock 35 with my .357 SIG Bar-sto barrel and some Cor-Bon 125 gr. JHPs. With an AWC can on it. Works every time, and takes them down fast!
I don't see the benefit of a supressor on super sonic rounds, its still loud. If you are going quiet. go .22lr or .45 with a locked slide. otherwise throw on some ears.

Me, I would use my race gun. double plug. accurate, blazing splits and transition, hi capacity and reliable
^ Thats why I said Mark .23 with a can, Knock down power with quietness.
+1 for the HK Mark 23 w/can of course and subsonic rounds.

I've tried my combo out already and even though it isn't as quiet as a suppressed .45 acp from my Mk 23, I don't need ear plugs. The .357 Sig (especially from a 5.32" Bar-Sto barrel) rounds hit alot harder even when suppressed, than any suppressed 45 ACP. Plus, I have a flatter trajectory, if I have to take a long range shot.

Check out the M4s outfitted with suppressors. The rounds are going still supersonic, it makes it more bearable to fire it. I've been to Iraq twice (once in the U.S. Army, and with Blackwater) and I have seen stuff that works and doesn't, and found combos that worked / liked.

BrokenArrow, Thank you for your service...

For me, even with a 30-35dB reduction (which is a little more than what plugs offer), the noise is a little harsh

The M4 that I have fired supressed, with I believe AWC, AAC, Knights, where all very nice to shoot, definately more bearable to shoot. I think the benefit really shines for entry teams. or to disguise the gunshot so it is not as recognizable

I will defer to your knowledge on this subject as you have much more experience in this field
Ducman,

I understand your point of view. I guess my loss of hearing from all my activities, have made various noises acceptable to me, but not others.

I do agree with you guys, that the Mk 23 is a joy to shoot, and does pack a walop when it hits. Too bad for the bad guys!
Def my kimber, I'm an awesome shot with it, just the 7 round limit SUCKS!
I'ma go with a Glock 34 on this one. Screw a supressor.

My stances on supressors is that their only function is to change the firing signature. It is still audible, and if you know your ass from a hole in the ground, you'll be able to recognize it.

6+1 mags of 17+1 rounds of 9mm 147g GDHP definatly flies the wiener.
I still can't believe no one mentioned the Glock 18 or 18C with 3 33rnd magazines!

That would be my second choice. What better way to throw down a lot of lead when you have a mass of people running after you? Also, fires single shots and auto so you don't have to resort to full auto fire till the threat is so severe that you need it.

I like the G21 for the reason that it's .45 and can be supressed to the point of silence, and it's my fav pistol to shoot in terms of fitting my style, but after the G21, I'd take the G18C. Wouldn't even need a suppressor, just a laser. :D
