My buddy who owns about 4 shotguns, 3 rifles and perhaps a couple handguns in the near future is in a situation where his landlords will not let him store guns in the house. Please do not try to tell me to tell him to fight that because he isnt. He wants to store his guns in a gun safe at my house which is right down the street. I was fine with this until I started thinking there could be potential problems with this regarding being in possesion of firearms that aren registered to me....or anythign related to that. So can anyone tell me if I had the potential to get in ANY kind of trouble for holding my buddies guns for him on my property in California?

As long as you have his permission, aren't a convict, and you store them correctly, nobody will know or care.
