Long time no speak (personally)...

What's everyone up to? What do you guys do for a living? Hobbies?

I'm Daniel, as most of you know... My hobbies are Subarus (Rally), Firearms (duh), War History (Especially WWII)... In my spare time I also do a lot of running, Mountain Biking, I "Play" Airsoft at whatever venue I can find... I like long walks on the beach and prefer tall women. ;) (My GF is taller than most of you! HA!).

A background on me:

I was born and raised in Germany by Croatian immigrants (Parents)... Moved to the states when I was kid... Lived in CA most of my life... I'm a big animal lover (Dogs in particular) and do my best to help out all non-profit animal shelters, etc... I also help out handicapped kids in my spare time...

Thats pretty much it.

What do you guys do? I want to get intimate with my fellow gunatics. :D

I've just been working my as off on my masters thesis for the history of science and tech program at ISU. Hell I havent been shooting since October cause the weather sucks on all my days off. There is 3 feet of snow on the ground right now and thats on top of 3-4 inches of ice.

For those who want the background info.

By name is not Adler.. its Rob. I am the offspring of German immigrants(from former East Prussia mainly) and I am working towards a Ph.D in History from Iowa State University. I have lived here all my life but have traveled quite a bit. I am married or 3 years now to a very nice woman of the Austro-Hungarian persuasion who moved here from Toronto to be with me(what a poor lady). I am in to vintage/muscle cars, firearms, music, and vintage motorcylces(especially BMWs). I have no kids, and used to be a muscian in a metal band years ago in high school. I am a surly and anti social bastard, but a magnificant one none the less. I have 3 pet rabbits...one who thinks its a dog and tries to be tough.

I got the moniker JOKER on here cause I have the biggest friggin revolver our founder has ever seen. Its a 12 inch barreled 44 stainless revolver. Plus I am a comic book freak and the Joker is the kind shit off all villianry

I used to have a 1975 R90/6. I miss it.

I'm Jamie, or James, or jamz depending on who you ask. I'm a computer/network geek in the medical field in MA and RI but I live in Maine, working out of the house mostly, for now.

Married just over 10 years to a great wife, have a 7 year old boy and 4 year old daughter. The boy likes to go shooting... the girl, not so much yet, but she is also from Planet Crazy and is pretty silly most of the time.

I used to rock and ice climb, mountian bike (technical, no cardio!) and do a lot of hiking but when the second kid was born that had to stop until she was old enough to come. Couple more years. :)

My dad taught me to shoot when I was 15 or so, but never really got into the details- always liked guns but never owned them until 2002... when my son began to get old enough to be curious about guns, I decided that he would be familiar with them, and they would not be treated like fearful objects, but rather things to be respected. Then I took an NRA basic pistol course, got into some reading on some gun forums and became totally hooked.

My wife at first was a "no guns in the house" type, but a full year of a program I developed has led to a gun safe full of handguns and rifles. :)

I lived in communist MA most of my life, and am really glad to be in a Free state now, although I do miss and like the city of Boston.

I'm Pat, or DJ, or 9iron, or POTF... :p

I'm a surveyor and GIS "technician" which means I make maps and use GPS extensively. I specialize in natural gas development here in Western PA. My work ranges from the NY border to the WV border in a week sometimes... Anywho, I like cars(all kinds), music[blues, old country, rockabilly, 60s(garage, acid, psych, beat, jam, etc), electronic(dnb, chillout, tribal, etc), and many other things. I used to be alot more physically active but have since married and acquired a mortgage 2 years ago. I guess you could say I was into extreme sports. MotoX, bike street, ramps, snowboarding, etc. I can't really do those things the way I used to anymore due to work. I'm at home actually right now with a scratched cornea from a tree branch.

Enough about that crap... I've always been interested in guns and weapons. I've been hunting since I was 10, and my parents always taught me the right and wrong ways to handle firearms. I've only really gotten serious about collecting about a year ago.

Hi.. My name is Mike.. and I'm a gunaholic...

I'm down in the OC (Please, please, please note most of the people down here are not represented on the TV show the OC or the Real Housewives or Orange County).

I'm a 4th generation Japanese/American (1 of my grandfathers was in the U.S. Army 442 Regiment and the other was locked away in internment camps during WWII). We've kept up military tradition in my family with each generation being involved in some way with the military or related agencies.

I own/run 3 small companies right now. 1 of which builds websites and happens to be building a few for airsoft retailers/distys (Where my airsoft info comes from).

I'm a long time gun owner and while my real gun collection is smaller then my airsoft collection, this is due to CA gun laws for the most part.

Been married for a little while now, no human kids yet. 1 real dog (Chow Chow/Akita = Mine), 1 mini dog (Chihuahua = Wifes), 1 bad ass ol' cat (Everybody = Pwned by the cat)

Jamz, my first real computer job was for a small company called DEC ;) . I lived out in Sudbury for a while until the mergers ;( I miss Boston too, but on my end being a native of CA. It gets too cold!

I'm Drew.

I'm into cars and guns for the most part. Guns being a more recent thing. As soon as I get some money saved up I will be expanding my (meager) collection.

Right now, I'm fresh out of college and just trying to fugure out what to do with my life.

Looking forward to finding a good local range and spending some time there once the weather gets nice.

You already know my name so that's covered.

I'm a born and breed country boy from eastern PA I do Cali realestate, part-time private security the other half doesn't like it I use to do a lot more and also work in the printing industry boring job but it covers insurance and I only need to be there 2 weeks a month so it allows me the time for the other jobs and travel. I have a son who lives with his mother in Cali so i'm there once a month.

My hobbies include travel, I'll go anyplace once. Scotch, I collect single malts, which is gonna be my demise since it's illegal to transport booze into this damn state and you can't get much here lol I the spring through fall I wrench on dirt track cars sprints and modifieds. The boat is more a investment than a hobby. I hunt a lot, archery, BP rifle shotgun handgun I hunt with it. In the fall I do hunter mentoring for kids that are intrested in hunting usually with single parents or city kids with no family link to hunting. And lastly GUNS any thing to do with them. rifle pistol shotgun .22-1000yd I dabble in just about every shooting sport and after reading this months shotgun news a trip to finland maybe in the future lol

And by the way I f'n HATE Boston, I have 5 up paid tickets from there, for what you might ask? JAYWALKING of all things. I would think the cops of Boston have better things to do than give me jaywlking tickets at 3 in the f'n morning.

I'm Bob. I work for a private investigation firm as a civil process server and a civil judgement recovery agent. Basically when someone has court paperwork they don't want, I get it to them. I deal with the best, brightest and nicest people stockton has to offer!, but service multiplr counties. I also do part time security on the weekends. I graduated from a police academy in september and am looking for a cop job right now. My biggest hobbie (yes bigger then guns) is aircooled VW's! I have a 1966 Karmann Ghia I'm working my ass off on restoring (not my avatar!)

My neighbor had an isetta (Urkel car) with a Honda CBR 929RR motor. Never got to ride in it, but god it had to be terrifying.

I saw one with a Civic motor in it at the Goodguys show in Des Moines about 2 years ago.....now that is frightening. Its gota be a bigger death machine than the Pontiac Fiero we built at my shop with a 383 Chevy Small Block Stroker in it.

I majored in management and asian studies. Regular 4 year school for me (well, 4.5 ;)). I'm still kicking around the idea of grad school, though I doubt I'll go.

Every extra penny I have right now (that is to say, not much) is being saved up for a firearm purchace in the (hopefully) near future.
