there is also a spring in the stock of SKS under the back of trigger -- (where you shove it into the stock and it clips in) -- that spring keeps the rifle in the stock solid.
That spring is absent on these aftermarket stocks, and the rifle flops up and down almost inch or so. So sad

I ran into this. I took the spring out of the wood stock and put it in the new stock. The hole for the spring was already there but I had to drill it out a size bigger to get the spring in. Now its solid. Now I need to go fire it.
