Get it... The Yugo SKS I have is awesome, never jams and well made parts.
Good deal. The imports wil be drying up soon so get one cheap while you can. 10 Years ago you would pay about 1k for one in excellent shape and the Russian ones were a dime a dozen.
ummm ewww
Uh, yeah, that's the damned ugliest SKS I've ever seen. You gotta keep those things old school, all the way.
yea i like the wood too if you can find a perfect one.
Woah... I have seen some Raped SKS's in the past few years.... but thats at the top of my list... The EO tech scope on it costs about 4 times more than that rifle does...
Doesn't that look very very long for a standard sks? the barrel loks wayyyyyy to long
Roomie raped his sks with the black version of that stock. I hate it and the balance is shot. he is one of those people who just has to mess with a good thing.

Normal M59 Yugo.
Everything just looks way out of proportion
actually its a 59/66 yugo. The 59 looks just like a ruskie without the grenade launcher and sights.
there is also a spring in the stock of SKS under the back of trigger -- (where you shove it into the stock and it clips in) -- that spring keeps the rifle in the stock solid.

That spring is absent on these aftermarket stocks, and the rifle flops up and down almost inch or so. So sad
Ewwwww, floppy rifle!

My brother and I both plan to pick up some Yugo SKS rifles in the near future, and the more I hear about aftermarket stocks the more convinced I am that mine will stay pretty much as-is... Besides, the money I'd spend on a stock could buy a lot of ammo!

Filthy Rich

carney, any SKS you can get for $100.00 is a good deal and is well worth the money. IMO, an SKS is the best assault weapon, other than the AK47, the world has ever known. i like the SKS more because of its extended accuracy. i highly recommend this purchase man. god bless.

I ran into this. I took the spring out of the wood stock and put it in the new stock. The hole for the spring was already there but I had to drill it out a size bigger to get the spring in. Now its solid. Now I need to go fire it.
