Preface: This was posted in an e-dick thread at SigForum where a guy asked if getting hit with a shotgun blast really would knock/throw a man to the ground and whether or not it is a good & effective man stopper.

To the first question the answer is generally not while to the second it's damn skippy if one keeps in mind that 'stop' does not imply to bring on instantaneous death and release of ones ethereal soul, which obviously as based on real world example toward humans and animals too is just not the case contrary to Hollyweird.

wow - finally had time to read the entire paper

interesting findings by the medical community

i am not very happy to read that the life expectancy from a shot gun blast from 3 yards or less with 00 buck is 2.3 hours

hopefully it dependent on shot placement and follow up shots decrease the timing exponentially

that reminds me about the old folk tail about if you load up a side by side double barrel shotty and pull both triggers at the same time you could cut a man in half
