i dont know about a bolt action rifle but the m82 and m40 rock like crap!
My personal favorite is th m14 rifle

it would only be liked by a sharpshooter or sniper cause of its accuracy and the 1 shot 1 kill thing it sould be uesful in the desert because if its long range and other stuff but....................... the m82 HAS EXEEDING a mile RANGE!

The M21 was more versatile and lighter anyway. I'm not a big fan of the M24. I'd rather not carry a rifle into combat that weighs 17 pounds, only holds 5 rounds, and is slow to reload. I'd trade off a little bit of accuracy for semi-auto and a 20rnd box mag.

I would have to say that shooting a .50 was by far not the most pleasant experience of my life.

I gotta agree with you on this, inside 600yds the m21 or m25 definately dominate. You may give up a little accuracy but not enough to miss a man size target at these ranges and the quicker follow up shots and 20 rounds can really ruin somebodies day not to mention the suppressive fire capability.

if you want to shred up someone up then use a .50 machine gun add a scope put it on full auto there 9999999999999 peices of a guy on the ground
