i have been very busy that last 48hrs - but had to comment on something that happened yesterday
after taking the dog to the vet and my wife to the wholesale clubs in the morning/early afternoon - i went to my friends shop to pull some parts off my track car
there are always some customers there that i know - today the LS1 tuner was there tuning a car for a fellow performance shop owner, who was also there
i have gone shooting before with both of these guys - no big deal, both are stand up guys, hell the LS1 tuner went to my bachlor party
anyway i pulled a smoked fuel pump outa my car and was walkin out back to place it in my truck when the other perf shop owner comes over to speak
we talked about the fuel pump for a second - when i said "i wonder what the internals of this things looks like, wonder how to take it apart without destroying it"
about that time the guy pulls a concealed mini glock from his strong side "just use this, it will come right apart...ha ha ha" - then he almost drops the damn pistol - performs a little juggling act before gaining control and re-holstering the weapon.
i was instantly pissed off and just walked away
this was a super bad situation that could have gotten deadly real fast
had doing the juggling act a finger derpressed the trigger - the round could have hit anyone of us - or any of the others in close proximity
please everyone regardless if your among "friends" - always always always use proper and safe handling techniques
remember: 911 is a joke - firearms are not!
