Anyone in here have experience with the S&W M&P-15 yet?

I got to check one out at the gun store and it seemed like a pretty nice piece... If they operate and shoot as good as the one I checked out looked then I may have to get another job or two so I can get one. :? [Of course if all they have is nice looks and other than that are lemons I'd have to sigh and move on with my life... I would think that Smith and Wesson would do a decent job of being in the AR business though.]

I haven't seen one in person, but S&W's customer service is top notch, I am more willing to take a risk on one of their new guns compared to many other companies. And since it is a AR, you have to try real hard to mess that up

Well mess it up more than Eugene Stoner already did with the direct gas impingment system.

And just because you can make it look really really really cool doesn't mean it will go bang every time either. Which is kind of a big issue when people start shooting at you.

Doesnt make it good either. I'll take my FAL over my Colt AR anyday thank you very much. Only jam I ever had was cause I had a shitty used Israeli mag that was wore out.
