Rough Rider .22LR vs. Traditions 1851 Cap & Ball

I cant decide which one I should get. I could hunt with the 1851 for stuff bigger than rabbits and i think it looks cooler. But ammo would be cheaper and safer in the Rough Rider. Have you guys had any experience with either gun?

I have a 1860 Navy cap and ball which, in a word, is a huge PITA. I've only managed to successfully fire it a few times, and I have loads of misfires.

I'd go with the heritage, personally. I have a ruger single-six bisley (similar to the rough rider) and it sees a whole lot more use than the cap and ball.
