Anyone ever used one? We just got them in at Wally-World recently, and it looked very nice... And it's cheaper than the 11-87. ;)

I've been doing some research, and all it's been doing is making me want one... Anyone have a good reason NOT to buy one? (Other than the fact that I don't need one... Which is moot.)

Well this gun is made in Russia by Baikal for Remington. It used to be sold by EAA before Remington stole the import rights away. My only complaint about the Ruskie guns is that they are heavy. But they are dead on reliable. Just make sure you handle the one you buy since there have been some beat up guns in Remington boxes, part of the shipping and importation process that Remington is not doing well. I saw one that looked like a 10 yr old field gun out of the box since some of the accessories came loose in shipping and beat the hell out of the gun.

I liked the EAA version better cause you could get it in Walnut or Synthetic

Eh, I'm only interested in the synthetic one, anyways, so that doesn't matter. ;)

As far as handling the one I would buy, I would probably do that anyways, since I would probably have to go get it from the "gun room" myself anyways... (To make sure they get the right one the first time around.)
