Ok to make a long story short my father just recieved my grandfathers shotgun collection, and we found this odd looking shotgun, which I will uploaded the pictures later it is a ward western field 20ga w/ 5shot internal magazine. I need help finding what year and when the company shutdown.

They were qite common at one time. Marlin and Mossberg made alot. I have a 2 shot 12ga bolt action shotgun, that is of all things a mauser, built in Germany in the 1920's on unissued Gew 98 recievers.


Wards Westernfield was the store brand of Montgomery Wards and they put that name on a large amount of guns made by Savage, Stevens, Winchester, and Noble firearms(later aquired by S&W)
