So i think that if I make detective (should know next week :banana: ) I may buy a gun. Policy says that Detectives can carry personally owned G19s...that'd mean I could ditch this Beretta, at least until I have to go back to uniform (or am working an OverTime gig in uniform). It'd also mean that I'd have two pistols and a reason to modify my gun case....hmm, now how to sell a $400 gun to Ms Yankee....hmmmm

You can either carry "a personally owned G19 or a G26"....I have a G27, but the dept requires a 9mm for a duty weapon :roll: I don't know why they didn't put the G17 in as well:jamz said:I hope you make Detective, DY, that would be really cool.
