From Start to finish, it cost me $30. I went to walmart and bought the briefcase, foam, and glue. Now I don't have to carry around a bunch of gun cases when I go to the range. heheh

Haha nice, did Martha teach you that one? You even have a place for your pens in case you need to write something instead of shooting it.

Saw this in Off Topic as well . Great idea; I may just have to make a briefcase for my 1911 and M9.

thats sexy
So i think that if I make detective (should know next week  ) I may buy a gun. Policy says that Detectives can carry personally owned G19s...that'd mean I could ditch this Beretta, at least until I have to go back to uniform (or am working an OverTime gig in uniform). It'd also mean that I'd have two pistols and a reason to modify my gun case....hmm, now how to sell a $400 gun to Ms Yankee....hmmmm
I hope you make Detective, DY, that would be really cool. Is it only G19s they let you carry, or would it be any personal weapon?

Oh yeah, and Excellent suitcase! :D
Yeah, whats the deal? You can't carry a G17, or something like it? Why does it have to be a G19?

You can either carry "a personally owned G19 or a G26"....I have a G27, but the dept requires a 9mm for a duty weapon  I don't know why they didn't put the G17 in as well:
Well, you can always stick a G17 mag in your G19, or carry it as a spare mag. Just look a lil' funny, is all :)
awsome. i saw a violin case that was made to hold a tommy gun. he wanted i beleive $1200 for it all. seemed like a good price to me?
you planning to shoot someone with that offensive looking foam gun?

fuckin orca. comin round here showin off.

boo hoo its too heavy. yeah, heavy with 9 rad ass AS pistols.

:)
lol just a visual warning for over zealous Pelican case purchases ;) It seemed like a good idea before I bought it ;P
Thats not a hitman briefcase... You need a small leather samsonite-type case, so it looks totally professional.

On that note, samsonite makes briefcases that are large enough (but still very small) to conceal an SU-16B (the shorter version). You can also hold magazines, ammo, and a scope in said briefcase. I want to get one, but they are pretty expensive... I should look online.
Think it could hold an M4 carbine with 6 pos stock?
