they go on sale every so often - just pay attention to the sunday paper of your local sporting goods store


the 18" Winchester was on sale for $200 and the 18" 870 were purchased for less than $300 both nib!

you guys - they still sell winny defenders all day long, they just stop producing them


so if you want one - check out your local sporting goods chain



when winchester announced the stopping of production of specific lines - it was the lever guns the flew off the shelves



at big 5 where i bought my 870 security, i asked and they had 5 defenders in stock!
they werent on sale, but still only $299
