Hi y'all, I'm currently in France going through my grandpa's stuff (who just passed away).
I found these three handguns that were hanging on a corner. I did a quick search it looks like they belong to the 18th or 19th century, but other than that can't really seem to find anything more about them. There's no engraving with names or numbers on them.. I have two questions for you knowledgeable gang:
1) Do any of you happen to know what they are?
2) Can they be worth anything more 300$ ?

(My mother wants to sell them at that price, not knowing anything more about them either.)
Thanks,

Traffic is pretty light here.

I'd go ask at one of the following forums:

And, maybe someone at one of these 2 forums can help:

You're interested in identifying these guns and discovering more about them. I totally understand. As someone who loves guns with history, I find it fascinating to discover the stories behind old firearms. It's great that you've been able to date these guns to the 18th or 19th century. That's a great starting point! Unfortunately, it might be difficult to identify them more specifically without any engravings or identifying marks.BTW, you might try out different powders for your hand loads.
