My dad carried a S&W model 29, when he was a leo.

His was nickel with the 6.5 inch barrel.

Sweet guns.....Model 29s! I use to have a S&W 629 Backpacker (.44 Mag), but I sold it a while back.....I still kick myself in the ass for that action.

I used to have a SS Ruger Police Service Six. It was a nice heavy beater, but I just couldn't use a snubby at the time and traded it for a Walther PP
