...I'm starting on my Project 10/22

I was just going to get a 10/22T. But I got a a Green Mountain 10/22 Barrel as an x-mas gift from the father-in-law....and I can't let it just set and go to waste, wife would get mad. So here it goes...

I ordered a Fajen 10/22 Thumbhole Silhouette Stock and a TEN22 ShockStop Buffer yesterday.

When that stuff comes in, I guess I'm going to need some trigger work done/ or some kinda a trigger kit. After that I need to start looking into scopes. I had a Cheap 4x scope on my 10/22 but I think the gas got out of it and it went dark on me so I threw it a way.

Any ideas?

I'm interested in what trigger work or kit you get done. I love my 10/22 but its nowhere near the same trigger pull as my friends Marlin (which he has worked over quite a bit).

I just ordered 3 more 30 rnd. mags, and an extended mag release for mine, and am currently sporting a Bushnell 3-9x32 scope.

For a trigger I'm thinking about going with the VCL 10/22 TG2000 as seen here... http://www.hawktecharms.com/ruger/10-22.htm It has all the parts you need in one piece.

Badass. I've always wanted to do a 10/22 project. My sight preference would be a decent red dot rather than a scope, personally.

A power custom or volquartzen hammer does a nice job in reducing trigger wieght

I would get a cheap BSA scope and a cheap BSA red dot. then you can shoot for accuracy and do some plinking

an extended mag release is nice to have as is the modified bolt release

Picked up a cheap Bushnell 3-9x32 scope today should be fine...My stock should be here in the afternoon. If it comes, I'll do some before and after pictures.

Here it is, didn't think you all need a "before" shot. It was just a standard 10/22. Just need the buffer and trigger job.

My old 10/22 was always my fav out of all my firearms...now after this there is no question as to how much I love this rifle!!!

Changed out the ruger metal buffer for the poly-plastic TEN22 ShockStop Buffer. Best $5 I've spent in a while.

Getting my new trigger set up, for my B-day next month.
