why are you pissed off about a anti armor hand grenade of all things? its a great design, from a personnel based AP explosive perspective. its so basic too, its a shaped charge at the end of a stick with a parachute for stability. i think its bad ass, personally.

they were there in the 90's (Desert Storm) too. We just didn't hang around trying to police Iraq back then. Plus Saddam didn't want to give us an excuse to do any more "clean up".

These have seen extensive use in Israel as well.

G3, you being pissed is justifiable. But take a step back and look at why our soldiers are being put in situations where these can be used. It may shift your focus on who to be pissed at.

I got 10 friends and family members deployed out there right now and another 2 deploying in a few days. These grenades and IED's scare the crap outta all of us, but something has to be done so these things aren't threatening US citizens lives.

i dont want this to degrade into bashing and im not trying to stoke a fire but i am genuinely curious as i dont have a full grasp on the history between iraq (or the middle east in general) and the US. so bare with me.

I'm not the most tactful person by quite a long stretch, but this is a public forum and able to be viewed by others who may not share our own race and viewpoint (I'm reffering to fellow gun nuts here). So when a comment generalizing an entire group of people is posted on this site, even in a justified sense of anger at the loss of our fellow citizens, the negative aspects of said post reflect onto us all. One's own words are all too easily used against us and Bradyites are just as eager for justification to label all of us in similar generalized terms.

Essentially, watch what you say because we have to assume the opposition is watching. (Aside from potentially offending someone, which naturally varies by individual.)

Said with as much understanding as I can muster in the midst of a 103 degree fever/sinus infection. Blarg...

Shut yer he-puss!

J/k

But yes, be accountable for what you say and realize that it may contribute to the problem, not the solution.

The guy is obviously a kid or has the IQ of a pet rock, man.

Russia didn't supply the ME thinking that there was going to be a war.

You have no idea about the SAD market. It's all about cold hard cash. You don't care who you are selling it to. You care how much you are selling it for.

AND, if your heart bleeds so much, what have you done to stop it? What have you done to protest it? What have you done in general? Nothing.

Don't bitch about things that are wrong unless you do something about it. And even then, rarely do the people that actually *do* something about it bitch about it.
