North Korea has a larger standing regular army than we do(One Millon Men Ready At All Times!). Even with our technological advantages it would be a hell of a strike of good luck to beat them given our present efforts around the world. No one hates commies more than me.....maybe Brucie, but the best way to get rid of them is to let them continue to piss off their only friend (China) with their sabre rattling and what is left of the economy and regime will weaken or collapse.
Japan is getting ready to transform the JDF to one that can go on the offensive incase Crazy Kim decides to pull shit. In the short period of time that takes, pull the South Korean army's capabilities I dont think Kim can do shit if he pisses China off anymore. Both the South Koreans and Chinese dont want the regime to just collapse since the borders would become open and they would have a flood of poor rural refugees to deal with.
As far as my opinion is concerned.....every member of the communist party(not every civilian in a communist country) would have their ass on a slab. But my family underwent a hell thanks to the USSR in East Germany
