na, I dont see why It would not be legal, but you will want to replace the pistol grip it comes with, there awfull! Shooting 00 buck out of mine it hurts like hell how flat the back of the grip is.

so i went to the gun store today and saw it...and i saw the price tag 400.00 is this too much for this gun? i was thinking of just finding an ffl dealer and getting it online.

the only problem is in ca most ffl charge $50 plus dros ($25-$35) to recieve a firearm.

Ignore my last. It's a CA thing, not Federal. I signed so much bloody paperwork last week for my M&P, it all sort of blurred together.

Incidentally, I think the actual paperwork should be renamed Dealer Record of Sale Sheet, or DROSS

400 for a Mossberg 500 Cruiser? Thats all you get?

Dude I don't know how inflated shotguns are on the west coast, but I know here in West Virginia I just bought a Mossberg 500 Cruiser on the 14th, and I payed 383 dollars for the shotgon, a 25 dollar TacStar pistol-fore-grip, probably 7 boxes of ammo ranging from Bird Shot to 00 buck to rifled slugs, and the damn thing even came with a Waterproof tube in case I wanted to "bury" it, they said.

I got all that for 383. Think the shotgun itself (with the waterproof tube) was like.. 319 -- brand new.

EDIT: Matter of fact, while browsing through other Shotgun threads, I bought this EXACT thing from a dealer about 15 miles from me. Exact same thing I bought, and 3 bucks off of what I paid for it.
