Ive been searching for all the specs, and info on the M249 saw. I havent found much. Any help is appreciated. Id like to find out more about it before i try and get it as my service weapon. 8)

Personally, I think that the 240 is more fun to shoot, but the 249 is a badass little piece of work. Mk19 is probably top of the list for fun. Last time I did a Mk19 range, they took us out to an old missile range because range control forgot to schedule us at the range. That was awesome, there were old car frames and old airplane hulls and shit out there to shoot at. Burned through a couple hundred HEDP grenades that day. That and the guys we went out there with weren't dicks about the smoking at the range thing. I was in the middle of shooting a belt off when I noticed my grader standing behind me smoking a cigarette, so I lit one up myself. Nothing adds to the experience like having a smoke while you're rocking a full auto 40mm grenade launcher. Job perks

2nded. 240G has a much nicer rate of fire even on cyclic to still be able to control with some degree of accuracy. the 249 is just a spray and pray on cyclic. I do love the feature that it will accept M-16 mags though. Oh and you suck about firing the Mk19 all day. I only got to pop off a dozen rounds or so on a tank back in the day.

Yeah, that last time was fun. Couldn't get any good pictures of the targets, though, as they were waaaaaay to far away for the shitty camera I had back then. Try taking a picture of a series of explosions from 800m away with a camera that doesn't have zoom. Doesn't work out too well. Damn shitty cameras.

There is a place in Scottsdale Called Scottsdale Gun Club, you can shoot belt feeders there and even the HB M2 ma duece bolted on to a HMVV or how ever it is spelled. All sorts of sub machine guns, P90, PPsh 41m, mp5. Auto rifles, AKs, ARs and M16s etc etc. You will drool until you see the prices, and then you get a case of dry mouth.

Yea... thats an old picture of me... Thats my dads friends old surplus Hummve, This thing is badass... kevlar armored and all stock military. I kept asking him if I could take it to the gheto with some paintball guns and test his kevlar protection :laugh:

Letting you know, that's probably not a good idea. The kevlar on those isn't really designed to stop concentrated small arms fire. It's more to soak up shrapnel from nearby explosions and the occasional bullet. Anything more than handguns and you'd be fucked. If you could get your hands on an M1114 HMMWV (rolls off the factory floor up-armored w/turbo diesel engine, saves your ass and hauls ass at the same time) then it may be fun.
