matching wood and numbers on all the parts are mandatory. Check for bore erosion with a bullet adn see if there is still some meat to it, should have quite a bit still sticking out to show that it will engage rifling well.
Personally I think you could get a nice one on Gunbroker cheaper. It would have to be a Winchester or other type of reciever to make teh gun worht that much.
Just dont buy the new production ones.....they are junk. You could get a CMP one and have it rebarreled and have a better gun for much less than 799
