I wouldn't consider myself what most people now consider a 'Liberal', more of a Moderate Democrat. I don't like granola, hate tofu, and loath people like Dean. But I don't like the religious right, and believe in personal rights, whether that be gun ownership or gay marriage. It's not just black or white. There is always a gray area. The huge devide that the far right and far left are creating will get us nowhere.-Chris

Marriage has been man and woman for thousands and thousands of years, just leave that word alone, you can pick any other word in the english language and we'll still give ya the exact same legal rights as married folks, just leave the word alone.
Marriage doesn't mean shit to me, but I know it does to lots and lots of folks, so keep their panties out of a wad and leave that word alone. I don't know of anyone who's against Gay unions or whatever you want to call them, just gay marriage (bar Pat Robertson, he's F'ing strange.)
Although I would expand the government to include a licensing program to have kids. I mean damn, you gotta be licenesed to drive, but not to breed? How stupid is that?

Anyway I agree with right down the line except for gay marriage.
The idea and so called sanctity of marriage has been a shame for decades. Folks being married via drive throughs and by persons dressed up as Spock, never mind the sub 7 yr. marriage numbers and divorce rate, getting divorces processed online, people getting anullments after being married for years if not mere days, married persons wife swapping and co-trolling for third and fourth parties via AdultFreakFinder.fuk and more.
With all that going on the idea of George Michael marrying Elton John or who ever and less than glam lesbians living, loving and sharing everything amongst each other legally and in same relational concept as me isn't all that alarming. I mean jeebus even Michael Jackson has been married, twice.
I'm all for the environment, ecology and conservation and using common sense but at the same time red meat is good and Ted Nugent as well as others should be allowed to hunt, fish and trap game with out being browbeat as long as they aren't endangering animals like they did back in the day with buffalo and wolves. My only exception to that would be squirrels and deer as they are no use to anyone not even themselves.
As based on todays political landscape that puts me left of you though we're both to either major party a pair of pariahs.

No, you don't. These are very much in line with my Liberservative views. I am slightly to the right only because I feel that in general the Republicans will at least reduce the size and scope of government, even as they try to stick their noses in your bedroom.BhamRoadrunner said:
