I purchased a few of these, one to give to my wife. Anyone have any resources on these such as DVD's, books, etc so she can learn how to use the tool effectively?

I've had a Koga stick for years as a "bar" weapon. Even if a bouncer finds it, he won't know what it is.
If he does know what it is, I'm out ~$8
