Holy dog shit! Im no Keltec fan but if there going to start producing rifles like that I soon will be..

Looks like it takes FAL mags...

Any more info out there about this?

nvm found some..

-RFB stands for Rifle, forward ejection Bullpup
-Chambered in 7.62NATO, takes Metric FAL magazines, Ships with 10rnd mag, shown in several pictures with a 20rnd mag.
-3 Versions: Carbine (18" barrel), Sporter (24" barrel), and Targer (32" heavy barrel).
-chrome lining is likely for the chamber and bore on the carbine, and only the chamber for the target and sporter model though this is not set in stone.
-All versions have threads to mount a free-floating 4 sided picatinny rail (carbine model has a shorter rail available) or bipod mounts, or bayonet lugs on the carbine.
-Safety lever, mag release, and bolt stop are fully ambidextrous.
-the operating handle reciprocates with the action and can be easily moved to either side of the rifle (I think I can do it in 5 seconds using only a cartridge as a tool)
-Field stripping is also fast and easy and only requires the use of a cartridge to press out the 2 captured assembly pins. these 2 pins are then pulled out, grip assembly is rotated down, rear cover is pulled straight out, carrier is pulled back, operating handle is removed and then carrier is slid out.
-dual recoil springs are full captured. Bolt is captured but can be rotated away from the carrier for cleaning and to remove the firing pin pin, which releases the firing pin. the dual extractors are not removed for fieldstripping but can be fully accesed and cleaned.
-to clean the gas system and ejector chute you again use a cartridge to depress the captured assembly pin at the front of the rifle, pullout the pin, rotate the forend down, pull the ejector chute straight out which removes the clip form the gashead. pull the piston pin, then pull the piston out.
-gas operation is achieved using a captured short-stroke piston with sealing rings and a detented adjustable gas vent.
-threads on the end of the barrel are 5/8-24
-The 5 way adjustable trigger will come standars on the 32" barrel target model. the other 2 models will have the EXACT SAME TRIGGER MECHANISM, but the adjustability will be removed. (they will still be very good triggers). the adjsutable trigger group will be available for purchase.
- the 5 adjustments on the trigger are: forward stop, rear stop, trigger spring pressure, sear trip stop, and sear trip spring pressure.

I really want to get my hands on that bad boy...

I've had some issues with my SU-16B, but I'll chalk it up to maintenance (read: me not cleaning it).

If it's anything like other KT's, it won't be too expensive. It'd be nice if it broke down into a briefcase! :D (One can fantasize, can't HE!?)

But the MSRP is EXPECTED to be in the $2k range for the 18" barrel carbine,
$2.5k range for the 24" barrel sporter,
and $3k range for the 32" barrel target model with 5 way adjustable trigger.
I'm not sure I totally agree with those MSRP's though. I guess we shall see closer to 2008 release date.

Ouch!

If it's anything close to those numbers, no one in their right mind is going to buy one... I mean Keltec's are cool and all, but there are much better rifles to be had for that kind of dough.

If only I was filthy rich... and I'm not referring to the member on this board with that handle.

Yeah... Seeing as 1 of Keltecs draws was affordable price, I'm a little sceptical on those MSRP's. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yep kentec has always inpressed me with there prices, I have seen a few times where the prices on firearms before there open to the public that are VERY high and then they come down alot when they do.

Lets just hope this is the case because damn sure I would not buy one at that price.

Id totally do one but not at $2000-3000.

Otherwise, very very cool. Been wanting an SU-16 for awhile now but this fits more with my "style".

ORCA, is that you in the black shirt?

someone give me the skinny on how that ejection system works. im totally confused!
it's the opposite of the maxim's feed. instead of pulling a round backwards and seating it against the bolt face to be inserted into the chamber, it removes a round from the chamber and rotates it upward to be forced forward down the ejection tube.
