it looks pretty cool. does anyone know anything about this rifle personaly? how does it shoot. and does the CA legal one still take AR hicaps?

I've not heard of a SUB-16CA. Are you referring to the SU-16CA? If so, it's a great little rifle. Light, plenty accurate, chambered in 5.56 so you can use mil-surp, and yes, it accepts AR-15 mags standard capacity or otherwise. I love mine.

I assume by standard capacity you mean 20 or 30 rounders, as opposed to "tiny" or "neutered" capacity at 10 rounds?

You assume correctly (though in my home state, they still refer to that has High Capacity :roll: )
