I checked my bank account this morning and the $30 check to the BATFE had cleared. It's only a matter of time till my C&R FFL gets here and bankruptcy begins.

I got mine alittle while ago. Make sure you fax a copy to Midwayusa and brownells so that you can get the discount

It's pretty easy. Fill out the application, send one part to your CLEO and the other to the BATFE with 30 bucks and wait.

There is record keeping involved and the BATFE can audit them when and where they please.

I had a C&R, it was cool. But I let it expire a couple years back. I never really had the money to buy the guns anyway. I got a few things that I wanted with it, for a lot cheaper then I could have otherwise.

If I were to do it again, I'd get a full FFL. But I probably won't do that either.

I have the FFL. It is a pain in the ass. 7 months, fingerprints and photographs to FBI, and a large stacks of papers to fill out.

My check cleared two weeks after I sent in my application. But it took almost another 2 months before I got my actual license. A C&R is cool, i'm over it though. At one point I had about 20 c&r rifles. Now I have maybe 8 and I would like to cut that number in half. If you have the storage space, and are able to go to the range at least once a week, then its worth it, otherwise there are better uses for your money.

This sounds almost exactly like my C&R experience. The other thing that I did not like was that that my freinds kept asking me to get stuff for them. Seriously, I don't like telling freinds no, I also don't like going to jail if somehting went sour down the line. I only bought stuff for me.
