[Nose Nuggets]

Well i saw this for the first time today. i guess its been going around for a while. at first, i thought hey a 9mm. but the write up states the weapon used in this video was a .45. now, i was under the impression a .45 has some serious penetration. but in the video it does not appear the slug passes the entire way through the suspects head, at point blank range.

maybe a ballistics guru can help me understand this one.

This video is graphic. it is unedited footage of a suspect shooting himself in the left temple with a pistol in a police interrogation room. it not nearly as bad as you might think. it is not gory. you have seen more blood from a bad laceration.

It appears to me like it did penetrate as the right side of his temple has blood coming from it. It's most visible at the very end of the video when he slumps over for a second time and his head rolls over.

Very very dangerous that the police; 1) Did not properly search him 2) Left him alone in a room without being cuffed/restrained/actively monitored 3) Gave him alternative weapons to use on himself or others in the form of leaving that ring of keys sitting on the table which the officer nonchalantly tosses down and walks away from, twice.

i don't think they even did a pat down. someone lost their job over that, i would hope.

It wasn't in his pocket, it was carried in his waist band mexican style.
Damn amazing that it went undetected at all muchless for as long and in side a police station, on a perp who just finished shooting an officer (!).

One would think that they would think; 'Hey, where did the gn he shot Joe with go?!'.

in the end, it all worked out for the best i suppose. guy kills a cop, and instead of making me pay for a worthless life behind bars he accelerates the ultimate end result.
