Can anyone recommend a good Hollow point CCW ammo recommendation? I am using a Kel-Tec PF9 and need some carry ammo Thanks all

Check if the PF9 can handle can handle +P or +P+, and consider that for CCW... though not for plinkin'

Thanks guy, for some reason it is stressed to use very little if any +P or +P+. Anyone have a good site where I can get this mentioned ammo? Gander Mountain did not have the Gold dots in my size (only for the 40). I def need to get some carry ammo this Remington UMC target ammo wont cut it. Thanks all!

For a non +P jhp I like the Federal Hydra-Shok and the Hornady TAP. I have a 9mm XD and the only JHP I've fired through it are the Cor Bon 'standard' +P JHP.

there are tons of places to get the ammo. Corbon and Powerball can be bought on their website. Other than that there is Cheaperthandirt.com or Sportsmansguide.com that offer a wide selection of ammo.

I carry Speer Gold dots in my Steyr M9 and in my Beretta 8040

If you go to the TAP website they will explain why the casing is black (it's nickel) and why they selected nickel plated cases as opposed to brass (gold) or aluminum (silver).

On the topic of hollow point rounds, what's everyone's thoughts on the Remington Golden Saber round?

the jacket tends to separate from the lead, so it really an old fashioned type of hollow point. Id say its better than FMJ or soft points, but thats about it.
