So I get off of work tonight, and am looking forward to getting to relax a bit. I'm about a block away from work. I'm in the intersection, waiting to make a left on an unprotected green. The light turns yellow and the oncoming car slows. Just as I go to proceed he hammers the gas, blows the light and hits me.

Yes, that's my bumper, on my hood.

I love my car..... It's totalled.... And I'm at fault because it was an unprotected left.....

Did I mention the other driver was uninsured and driving on a suspended license?

What an awesome night!

pending the letter of the law. you are at fault.

any video cams around? street? in side any store that might have a view of the spot?
anybody see the accident? get there names if there are any,
and of course have them file a report with the police.

but no insurance you just might be sh**out of luck any way you slice it.
could sue in court.....but just try to collect.

i drive class A and see it all the time, easy fender binders. totaled cars.

i have had two, yes (2) people hit my truck this year, and i was parked making deliveries. how can one not see a 48 foot trailer? daylight, clear and dry.

sorry to hear and see your accident,
remember never trust the other driver.

Well last week my wife swerved to miss hitting a dumb ass 11 year old kid darting across the street and sideswiped a pole since the other lane was blocked. I now have a rear quarter and door to replace on my Monte Carlo.
