BioVault 2.0 is the ultimate solution for access control. Invented and developed by Sequiam, BioVault 2.0 provides safe storage and easily controlled access for handguns, weapons, ammunition, jewelry and other valuable items including: pharmaceuticals, coins, stamps, stocks, bonds, critical data and personal documents.

BioVault 2.0 uses proprietary fingerprint technology to verify identification and permit access. BioVault 2.0 is easily programmable and can store up to 50 authorized fingerprints in its flash memory. Only you decide who gains access to BioVault 2.0. BioVault 2.0 patent-pending technology is the culmination of over 20 years of biometric development. BioVault 2.0 requires no external computer or power to function, no key or card to provide override.

The BioVault 2.0 power management system allows 3 common household D-cell batteries to last up to one year under normal use. An auxiliary AC/DC adapter conveniently plugs into an electrical outlet to provide an alternate source of power. Flash memory retains fingerprint data even during complete battery or electrical failure.
This looks like a faster solution than Gunvault and the Mossberg gunsafe. MSRP is $399. NRA members get $50 off.

Fuzz,

I've seen that one before via the NRA store but thanks for the effort.
The cost is higher than I'd like to spend. It should run $199 or less to be commercially sensible, if not viable, considering it is not fireresistant, not water resistant, and for the price is not even nearly as secure as a gun vault at the same price point from my local Dicks.

BTW thanks for posting as you remind me that I need to get back to you on stuff.
Give me a few minutes to that end...

Yep, I'm a mod here...have been for some time now. :p

One day I was Joe Blow and then the next day I wake up to find a PM indicating I have the powa of Greystoke!
Generally I roll low key with it and use the abilities sparingly.

Anyway that Saturday (4/21) I'm already booked as I'll be attending pt. 2 of an all day seminar I've been involved in toward museums & historical societies. It's an all day event running morning to late evening.
Sorry mang but I can't blow it off for political reasons (I'd look like an ass) and I was sponsored in to participate as others are depending on me to suck up knowledge in order to turn around and show/advise others toward same. I've even reschedlued the Map, Compass & Survival course I was scheduled, and very much looking forward to, to take on that same day to the next open class (6/23!) so that I can make and complete this seminar.

Of course I'd otherwise be down for a root beer.
Will you be around maybe Saturday night like after I get everyone to bed and what not? I was planning to go see Shooter and if there is time maybe play some pool or something afterward.
Anyway I'll try to buzz or write you this evening if not tonight to chat more.
