Rep Schiff, Adam B. [CA-29] - 3/7/2007
Rep Van Hollen, Chris [MD-8] - 3/7/2007

If these are your reps, you probably already know they are worthless but call them and give them an earful (if you belong to their district, otherwise you are wasting your breath).

Other than this, the bill is still going nowhere. It needs assignment to a Subcommittee before it can move anywhere and it has not been assigned one yet. This suggests that the Chairmain (John Conyers) may be keeping a lid on this bill for now... Overall, things are looking good right now, though it could easily go from nowhere to several steps down the Committee process in a day if the leadership got behind it.

Currently nothing on the Judiciary Committee schedule for it either, though they only update the schedule a few days in advance, so that doesn't mean much either.

Because generally VA is pro-gun, pro-hunters, pro-2A, and it's constituents are not exactly shrinking violets.
Aside from NoVA (Fairfax & Arlington counties) VA has traditionally and long been of and about gun owner rights.
